Founder/Owner
Matthew's career in the double glazing business began in 1995 when he started as an apprentice window installer. He developed his knowledge working with a company in the south of England for 15 years and in 2010 made a move to Scotland where the concept of MJS double glazing repairs was born.
Although the business has grown and become very successful, he always wanted to keep it small enough to offer a quality, personal service and this reflects in the five star reviews the business receives across multiple platforms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All quotes are subject to a full survey.
Payment is due on the day of completion unless there has been a previous arrangement between us and the customer.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or credit/debit card
We can only accept debit/credit cards on payments under £2000.
Guarantee as follows:
2 years on parts
5 years on sealed units
10 years on frames
12 months on labour.
Quotes are supplied by email, WhatsApp, text message, Facebook or one of our advertising sites.
Any cancellations made after the quote has been accepted through any of these channels will incur a fee equal to the cost of materials but not including labour. This would be invoiced through our usual channels.
If an appointment for a quote is missed by the customer without prior notice, we will not revisit unless there were unavoidable circumstances.
If an appointment for works is missed or the customer is not home on the agreed day, the full cost of the job will become due and an arrangement fee will be due to change the agreed date.
Sealed units are made to measure and therefore chargeable, in full should a cancellation be made.
When replacing leaded or stained glass, it is not always possible to match existing installations 100%. This will be explained at the time of survey.
We may need to temporarily board up a window or door if we need to take away a unit to copy or repair.
Full window and door installations are often installed by our manufacturers fitters as they are contracted by us to do so.
All installations will be finished to decorating standards where able.
All prices quoted are for complete jobs. Any amendments to the quote may increase the price of individual items.
Where there is an issue with one aspect of a completed job, the customer is still obliged to pay for all satisfactory completed components. A reasonable amount can be withheld until the component is finished inline with the agreed quote.
A deposit may be required before any materials are ordered.
